Fly-Ash Stabilization
To facilitate powerplant conversion from coal to other energy sources, existing fly ash ponds must be abandoned in an environmentally friendly manner.
This process requires stabilization of the existing fly ash through dewatering. After fly ash is sufficiently dewatered, the now stable material is graded for adequate surface drainage. the fly ash is then capped with clay, sometimes augmented with a geotextile liner, and covered with top soil and vegetation.
Delivery Methods
We are equipped to fly-ash stabilization services using a variety of project delivery methods including but not limited to design-build, progressive design-build, and design-bid-build. We have performed this service for both the private and public sectors.
Let’s talk
We want to work with people who, like us, do what they say, always look for the best possible
solution, and whose handshake means something. Because we find when we share vision and
values, we’ll end up sharing success.
