The Beardsley Road project included a bridge that ran under the I-670 bridge just on the East side of the Bottoms.
Access was the key issue on this project. Low profile drill rigs were needed to install the drilled shafts under the I-670 Bridge. A temporary construction road had to be built on the side of a bluff in order to install MSE retaining wall. Great care had to be taken in order to install the steel girders under the existing bridge.
