Ben Cummings

Ben has been with RBE since 2014, and was promoted to vice president in 2022. He began as a project manager, and his immediate contributions to the Rogersville Freeway Project helped to make it one of the most successful in MoDOT’s southwest region. As an integral leader in all projects and initiatives, whether it be improving internal operations or how we bid and construct jobs, Ben is always seeking new ways to progress through a value engineering lens. Prior to joining us, Ben worked for another heavy highway general contractor in southern Missouri, and he spent the early days of his career as a lead construction inspector and construction manager for MoDOT — which equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of their processes, standards and expectations. He leverages this experience to ensure each and every project he takes on is a success. Ben has managed over $300 million of MoDOT projects, with each one being delivered either on time or ahead of schedule. Away from the office, you can find Ben perfecting his golf game and meat smoking skills, or cheering on the Chiefs with his wife, Jeri.
