Ed Andres

Over the past 25 years, Ed has played a major role in the growth and expansion of RBE. His versatility has been paramount to our success. Ed has estimated and managed projects valued at $1 million to over $100 million. While the core focus of his career has been estimating and managing civil construction projects, he’s gained recognition for his ability to employ value engineering ideas to ensure a successful project. The dozens of value engineering proposals he’s generated have resulted in over $4 million of actual saved construction costs. Ed is also a skilled project manager — without a single project resulting in liquidated damages. Furthermore, Ed has acquired and successfully delivered a variety of projects for KCMO and MoDOT through the design-build delivery system. On the weekends, Ed can be found biking on one of the many trails RBE has constructed in the KC metro area, driving his Harley or playing tennis with his wife, Jodi, and their two daughters.
