Completed in May of 2026, just ahead of the highly anticipated World Cup, the Grand Boulevard bridge offers pedestrians a safe route from the River Market to the Riverfront.
This project was unique in that it runs parallel and in close proximity to our streetcar extension project. The implementation of this bridge was a significant economic driver for the development of Berkeley Riverfront, as it provides increased access to the already popular and continually expanding district.
