435 South Loop Link, Design-Build

This project included multiple bridge replacements, resurfacing, and corridor safety/mobility improvement from the Kansas state line to the Three Trails Crossing interchange.

The improvements include replacing the bridges at Wornall and Holmes, rehabilitating the bridges
at 104th Street and the Blue River, and adding another lane to I-435. Additional improvements include removing the loop ramps at the Holmes Road interchange, 12-foot inside shoulders along I-435, increased vertical clearance under the Wornall Road bridge, a taller and safer concrete barrier wall, and longer merge lanes in critical locations. The project also included more than a half mile of pedestrian facilities spanning three arterial intersections, as well as both open and closed drainage design throughout the entire project corridor.

North Oak Trafficway, Design-Build

North Oak Trafficway is a major north-south connector in Kansas City’s fast-growing Northland region.

This project included reconstruction of the 1-mile of road from the North Kansas City limits to North Indianola Drive, and sidewalk additions extending north from Indianola Drive.

Rogersville Project Freeway, Design-Build

RBE completed the first design-build project in MoDOT’s southwest district with the Rogersville Project Freeway.

This 3 mile segment of US-60 was upgraded with 7 intersection improvements and 3 new interchanges.
